The Sea so calm
The world, so still
I sit upon my window sill
Daydreaming of a silent pleasure.
If you were still alive to see me, I know you'd be smiling.
But alas, you are not, and so I dream forevermore.
Of nights in shining silver armor, and chalices of gold.
Days of splendor, nights of fear, with you whispering in my ear,
"Someday you'll be free to fly
away into the cold night sky."
I awake with a start, and remember...
Then I cry myself to sleep...
It's strange, but I rather like it...
